Your question is too short.
How Rebtel app connects call? via local access number?
The Rebtel App will recognize when you are dialing an international number on your Android’s native phone dialer or address book and turn it automatically into a Rebtel call for you.

What does that mean? Rebtel app forwards the call to local access number?

1. My call plan has unlimited calls to 'only' five local numbers.
2. No data plan. May not be connected to wifi always.

So how 'exactly' the app work? Should I simply add local access number for unlimited call. Wish the app was intuitive.
Price increase!
Dear Rebtel user,

We have unfortunately been forced to increase our price to the following destinations them due to capacity issues and to be able to sustain the same level of quality.

Brazil Mobile: 19,9c
Trinidad & Tobago Mobile: 24,9c
Liberia Mobiles Other: 39,9c
Tunisia Landlines: 39,9c
Andorra Landlines: 2,9c
Monaco: 5,9c

(Prices are in US cents)

We are constantly working with our suppliers to provide the lowest possible rate, but we don’t have a date when this might be possible.

We recommend you to earn credit by inviting friends and lower the effective rate that way you get 10 USD for the friends that signs up through the invitation link, make a call and add credit to their account the first time.

We are truly sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Kind Regards,

Rebtel Launches Free International Calling App for BlackBerry!
The world's leading mobile VoIP brand enables free calling between BlackBerry and Android users in more than 50 countries

Rebtel, the world’s largest independent mobile VoIP company, today announced the launch of its new BlackBerry application, allowing BlackBerry users to make and receive free international calls between more than 50 countries.

You can download the application on App world. Just click on the link below and start taking advantage of the Rebtel service.

http://appworld.blackberry.com/websto...

The news immediately affects millions of BlackBerry users looking for a smart and simple solution for making free or affordable international calls. Rebtel currently has mobile offerings with similar Free Calls functionality available for the Android platform (since March 2010) and is adding it to their next version of Apple’s iOS iteration slated for release in Spring 2011.

Free international calls: Calls from Rebtel users to BlackBerry or Android devices with the application enabled from any phone are completely free of international charges.

Seamless background integration: When the user dials an international number, or selects an address book contact with an international number, the call is automatically intercepted and routed via Rebtel instead of their carrier.

No Wi-Fi needed: Similar to Rebtel’s Android app, Rebtel for BlackBerry works on the standard cellular network using local phone numbers and users’ monthly local minutes instead of requiring an active Wi-Fi connection to connect calls. The Rebtel app works anytime, anywhere and works with the standard operator, dialer and address book.

Rebtel for BlackBerry is available starting today on BlackBerry App World.

Happy calling!

Best regards,
The Rebtel Team

How do I change my personal PIN?
I forgot my PIN so I was sent a new one but now I want to change it to something I can remember. Where do I go on this site to change it????
Why can't I add non-Rebtel-country phones to my acct?
I have a Trinidad & Tobago (+1868) local SIM. While Trinidad is not a Rebtel country the mobile operator has very good rates for calling the US (and Canada), about the same as calling a local Trinidad landline, though the rates for calling other countries are awful. I hence would have liked to add the phone to my account so that I could make overseas calls via US Rebtel numbers.

This, of course, isn't possible. Rebtel complains that since Trinidad isn't a Rebtel country I can't add the number. In this case, however, that makes no practical sense to me; since US numbers are as cheap to call from the phone as Trinidad landline numbers, having local numbers to call through wouldn't improve anything.

Is there no way to force a number to be treated like a US number for the purposes of Rebtel registration? Even if I can somehow prove that I know what I'm doing when I do that? It seems to me that adding a phone number from a non-Rebtel country, which is prohibited, is almost always better than using Rebtel while roaming in the same country with a phone from your home country, which Rebtel doesn't (can't) prevent.
