Registration and logging in

  • Do I need to join Rebtel?

    • If you wish to continue using Rebtel after the free trial, you'll need to register.

      The sign-up process takes less than five minutes and is very easy. After you've registered you can start creating local Rebtel numbers to call your friends on.

     
  • Where can I join Rebtel?

    • You can join Rebtel online at www.rebtel.com or from your mobile phone.

     
  • How do I verify my number?

    • You can verify your number by clicking on Settings, then click Manage phones and follow the instructions.

      You can also verify your number by calling one of your local Rebtel numbers. The number will be verified as soon as your friend answer the phone.

     
  • How can I join Rebtel from my mobile phone?

    • Type in the name and number of your friend and send it to +44-77-9780-0900. People located in Sweden can use the number +46-730-120-526 to join Rebtel from their mobile.

      You will receive a Rebtel number to call your friend on. You can use it from your registered phone immediately.

      We will confirm your membership by sending an SMS, including the Rebtel number to call your friend on.

      We will send two SMS after you have made your first call. One, with your PIN number to your Rebtel account, and one with the number for the Rebtel Operator in your country.

     
  • Why do you need my e-mail address?

    • We need your email address when you send in a request for a new PIN number, and so we can send you receipts when you make a payment.

     
  • I forgot my PIN number, what can I do?

    • Click on the link and send in a request for a new PIN number.

      You can choose to send it to your registered email address, or to your mobile phone as an SMS.

     
  • When I try to log in I get the message “Login failed” - why is this?

    • Please make sure that you are using the correct phone number and PIN number.

      Be sure to include the country code i.e. USA: +1 xxx xxx xxxx, UK: +44 xxxxxxxx when you enter your phone number.

  • I couldn’t log in with my new PIN - why?

    • If you tried to log in five times or more with the wrong PIN, you'll need to wait an hour after your last attempt before you can log in to your Rebtel account again with your new PIN number.

      If this doesn’t work, send us a note  and we will help you.

     
  • I requested a new PIN, but haven't received a reply yet - what's up?

    • Your mail server may have considered the mail to be spam, so please check your spam/junk folder.

      Make sure the email address you registered with us is the same as the one you expect us to send the new PIN number to.
