With more than a dozen countries represented in Rebtel’s workforce, multiculturalism is a great asset for the company.
What’s it like working at Rebtel? - Hear from some of our employees
“Just like lots of others, I first got acquainted with the service by using it and when I didn’t feel like I had any more room to grow and develop at my old job and saw that Rebtel had an opening, it didn’t take long before I applied, and eventually got the job,” says Lars, Core Developer.
“It’s a cool feeling to work with a product that you actually use yourself on a daily basis. It makes you that much more emotionally invested and literally puts you in the shoes of the user, which is critical in my opinion. What I like the most is the multi-cultural environment and laid-back atmosphere in the office. Even though we take what we do seriously, I like that we’re encouraged to take a step back sometimes. Play a game of ping-pong, have a laugh and go around and talk to people at other departments just to get a fresh perspective on things,” he says.

“Working at a tech-startup tends to mean you get to work a lot with new emerging technologies and talented people that you’re able to be inspired by and learn from. I applied for work at Rebtel because we've got an awesome product that you can actually relate to. It makes the lives of millions across the globe easier and that’s something I can be proud of”, says Christopher, one of Rebtel’s iOS developers.
“For me personally, it’s important that the distance a new idea has to travel until it becomes a feature in a product is short, and that’s the case at Rebtel. It effects your motivation a lot knowing that what you do quickly gets out the door and to our users.”
-Christoffer Ahlbin, iOS Developer
“Working at Rebtel means that I get to meet people from all over the world. People that are passionate about what they do, always helpful and super friendly!” says Tamara, Operational Controller.
“I am always challenged by my work and encouraged by my manager to come up with new ideas and thoughts. The fact that Rebtel is a small company gives me great opportunities to suggest changes, learn new things and develop.”
